About
I started this blog as I get less time to code at work and it's nice to keep my hand in. Then write about it.
I do stuff like:
Dive into languages, runtimes and databases like TypeScript, Ruby, node.js, and PostgreSQL
Figure out the best way to build things with Angular and the JavaScript ecosystem
Create infrastructure and run containers on AWS
Create documentation, guidelines and training for small teams
Make as little process as we can to get things done swiftly but give teams the freedom to make great software
Create the right environment for automated testing and quality to thrive
Integration with what feels like billions of APIs: Both shiney and new, and old workhorses
Write blog posts and articles
Sometimes I like to pick up and play with less familiar technology I don't have an immediate use for, because learning new stuff can be fun.
I have fun working at Up Hotel Agency with a small home-grown team that get things done.
